International Arbitration Transcription in London
Juriscript is a boutique, London-based firm providing human transcription: real-time and daily hearing transcripts for international arbitration, produced by professional human transcribers, with e-bundling and electronic presentation of evidence (EPE) alongside. Personal, highly responsive and available out of hours.
Arbitration Transcription in London, Built Around Your Hearing
When a hearing is under way, the tribunal, counsel and the wider legal team need to rely on the record. Juriscript provides English-language legal transcription for international arbitration in London and internationally, including where legal teams and arbitrators are working in a non-native language. This is human transcription: every transcript is produced by professional human transcribers and stenographers, not by automated speech-to-text. Transcription is what we do first, and we are a recommended transcription partner of many arbitration centres in the UK and Europe.
As a boutique firm, we give every hearing personal attention, and we are available out of hours, including evenings, weekends and urgent requests. See why clients choose Juriscript.
Real-Time Transcripts and Daily Transcripts
Real-time transcript. A highly skilled stenographer transcribes the spoken word at up to 300 words per minute, and the transcript appears on screens in the hearing room as it is said. It can also be streamed to a secure website, so colleagues and stakeholders anywhere in the world can follow the hearing live.
Daily transcript. A stenographer works in tandem with an experienced scopist to produce a fully edited verbatim transcript, typically within 60 minutes of the end of the hearing day. Draft copies are available on request at any time.
Many clients use both together: real-time transcription during the hearing, then the edited daily transcript to review and prepare from before the next day begins. For an overview of both, see our transcription services in the UK.
Hearing-Room Support
We are self-sufficient, providing the IT and recording equipment our part of the hearing needs, and we liaise with the venue’s staff so that everything runs smoothly. Our transcribers look after the technology in the hearing room, so we can respond quickly as the hearing develops.
We understand that arbitration proceedings are fluid, and we are flexible as your requirements change. We also treat the confidentiality and security of the information entrusted to us as a priority.
Virtual and Hybrid Hearings
We also support hearings held remotely and in a hybrid format. Our managed virtual hearing solution combines secure technology with a trained moderator in the virtual hearing room, alongside real-time transcription, so you can leave the technical side to us and concentrate on the case. Transcription and E-Bundling in One Place
Alongside our transcription work, we provide e-bundling and electronic presentation of evidence (EPE) through an established technology partnership. An e-bundle is a digital version of the hearing bundle, and EPE allows the tribunal, counsel and witnesses to look at the same page at the same time. You get a single point of contact for transcription and hearing technology, rather than having to coordinate separate suppliers. Find out more about EPE and electronic bundling.
Why Human Transcribers Beat AI
Accuracy. A human transcriber follows accents, interruptions and overlapping speech, and captures tone and nuance, so the record reflects what was actually said in the hearing.
Security. Hearings often involve sensitive and confidential material. With human transcribers, confidential material stays with people we trust, rather than being passed to automated third-party services.
Reliability. A professional is present throughout the hearing and does not drop out or misfire. If something goes wrong in the room, they can deal with it as it happens.
Editorial judgement, in real time. A human transcriber makes the editorial decisions that turn speech into a usable record, cleaning the transcript as the hearing goes on: identifying speakers, handling overlapping speech and accents, and getting legal terminology right.
Every Juriscript transcript is produced by professional human transcribers, not by automated speech-to-text. Learn more about our hearing transcripts.
Arbitration Transcription FAQs
Is your transcription done by humans or by AI?

What is the difference between real-time and daily transcripts?
